Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be commencing their studies in a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Environmental) in Semester 1; be enrolled on-campus at Toowoomba; and be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in Semester 1 and Semester 2 of each year of study.
Amount | $5,000 The scholarship is valued at up to $20,000 for 4 years. In addition, the successful applicant will be required to undertake 50 days paid work experience per year as an intern within Council's professional engineering team. This can be undertaken part-time during the university semester and/ or full-time during university holidays. As council employees, scholarship holders are eligible to apply for internally advertised positions, such as engineering cadetships or council's Generator Program. |
