The UTS Alumni Scholarship aims to support and recognise the contributions of current UTS undergraduate students who have demonstrated commitment to UTS and the wider community through their involvement in community service activities. One recipient each will be selected from following Faculties: UTS Business School; Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building; Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences; Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology; Faculty of Health; Faculty of Law; and Faculty of Science.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, or permanent residents, or humanitarian visa holders; be a current student enrolled in a UTS undergraduate degree; have completed at least 1 year of study in their current degree (equivalent to 48 credit points); have achieved a minimum Credit average (WAM of 65) in their current degree; and be involved in community service activities (past or present) within UTS and/or the wider community over the last 2 years. Selection is based on: involvement in community service activities within UTS as demonstrated through the provision of a reference letter and/or certificate as outlined in the eligibility criteria listed above. Amount $5,000

The scholarship is valued at $5,000, paid in 2 equal instalments after the Census dates in Autumn and Spring sessions.
