Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship (ICAS)

The Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarships (CAS) are available to Indigenous students to assist with the high costs of relocating to undertake higher education. While the CAS have been replaced by the Relocation Scholarships (administered by Centrelink), they will continue to be offered to Indigenous students in their existing form.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Australian citizens; be relocating from a rural, regional or remote area to study at USC; and have not previously completed a bachelor degree or equivalent (except where it is an entry requirement for the current course). Selection will be based on evidence of financial need, other equity considerations and personal circumstances and relocation status. Tenure is dependent on satisfactory progress.
