Thompson Excellence Scholarship

Mr and Mrs Thompson are generous donors to the University of the Sunshine Coast, most recently making a $5 million gift to support the development of a multi-storey car park on USC's Sippy Downs campus, the revenue generated to fund The Thompson Excellence Scholarship.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents or humanitarian visa holders; be commencing full-time in their first undergraduate program at USC and be able to demonstrate financial need, academic merit (OP1-6 or equivalent); and leadership skills through extra-curricular/community activities.
| Amount | $8,000 The scholarship provides $8,000 per annum for a 3 year program up to a maximum of $24,000, or $8,000 per annum for a 4 or 5 year program up to a maximum of $32,000. |
