Tim Fairfax Regional Scholarship

The Tim Fairfax Regional Scholarships were established in 2008 in order to support students who must move away from their home residence in a regional or remote area to undertake their university studies.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be commencing their first undergraduate degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast; and must have relocated from a regional or rural area to study at USC. Selection is based on: high academic achievement (OP 1 to 6 or equivalent); leadership skills demonstrated through academic, extra curricular/community activities; and financial need.
Amount | $5,000 The scholarship is paid in instalments of $2,500 per semester for the normal duration of the program. Students will receive $5,000 per annum for up to 6 semesters for a 3 year program up to a maximum of $15,000, or $5,000 per annum for up to 8 semesters for a 4 or 5 year program up to a maximum of $20,000. |
