This qualification is part of the Community Services Training Package. It reflects the role of celebrants who work with their clients to plan and present ceremonies of varied types in the Australian community. Celebrants are generally self-employed.

Core: Develop sustainable celebrancy practice; Research, design and organise ceremonies; Establish client celebrancy needs; Prepare for, present and evaluate ceremonies; Work with diverse people; Work legally and ethically. Electives: Establish and maintain marriage celebrancy practice; Interview clients and plan marriage ceremonies; Prepare for, present and evaluate marriage ceremonies; Plan, present and evaluate funeral and memorial ceremonies; Provide loss and grief support; Work effectively in the funeral services industry; plus more.
