Master of Data Science

Data science is a multidisciplinary field that applies various techniques of data analysis, including computational and statistical methods, data mining and knowledge discovery. To qualify for the Master of Data Science, a student must complete 72 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.

Entry requirements

Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Diploma in Data Science must normally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in science, medical science, information technology, mathematics, statistics or a closely related discipline from an approved tertiary institution.
However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
