This is an approved degree for anyone seeking a career as a paramedic with an Australian state ambulance service or a research career in pre-hospital science.

Structure

The program contains mainly compulsory core topics specific to the Paramedic stream. All students will complete clinical placements and gain 'on the job' supervised experience with the SA Ambulance Service. Applicants with previous South Australian Ambulance Service (SAAS) training may be offered the conversion course stream and given some credit towards their studies.
