This degree is designed to aspire middle and senior education leaders to understand how they might grow their leadership as change agents with knowledge and the relational sensibilities to work with others for a better world.

Structure

  • Students complete six core (compulsory) topics a number of option topics and at least one minor chosen from various areas including educational design and digital learning

Standard entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and have no less than two years work experience in an organisation.Applicants must provide details of their work experience in their SATAC application.

Recognition

Graduates will not be eligible for teacher registration. Please see the Master of Teaching suite to undertake a postgraduate teaching qualification that leads to teacher registration.

Study pathways

The University may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, consider applicants who do not hold a bachelor degree or equivalent but can demonstrate relevant higher education study with relevant work experience, or relevant work experience which may meet the requirements for entry into the course.
