The Rural Industries Campus, Wangaratta, is the new home of the GOTAFE Rural Industries Division including the National Centre for Equine Education. The purpose-built facility opened for operation in February 2010 and features a commercial horse breeding stud, equine hospital and an Olympic standard performance arena on 40 hectares situated on the outskirts of Wangaratta. The site attracts students from around Australia and overseas to study courses in horse breeding, racing, equine nursing, performance horse and animal science, agriculture, horticulture, conservation and land management, and viticulture and wine making.
