Master of Business Administration

La Trobe University

Type of institution: University/Higher Education Institution
Level: Postgraduate
CRICOS: 00115M

This course allows students to consider issues like responsibilities to co-workers and the community, and graduate as leader who can develop and sustain a competitive advantage for your organisation. Students will participate in real business scenarios and boardroom simulations, and create their own e-portfolios. Responsible management is a key theme across the subjects, underpinned by the United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). Flexible study modes including weekend and evening classes allow students to complete this course alongside their other commitments. It offers full-time or part-time options.

Structure

Students must complete 180 credit points, including 10 core and two elective subjects. There are also two core professional experiences: E-Portfolio (24 hour time requirement) and Boardroom Simulation (24 hour time requirement). Students must complete the two core professional experiences to fulfill the degree requirements. However, they are not credit-bearing, nor fee-bearing.
