The Heidelberg campus is a centre for manufacturing, engineering and building industry training and is located 15 minutes from the CBD. The campus has been designed, built and equipped to meet the requirements of competency-based training, multi-skilling, industry restructure and advanced robotics and computing technologies.The robotics simulation facility presents students with a challenge, as do the AutoCAD training centre and the plumbing classrooms equipped with the latest appliances and tools donated by industry. The 'barn' boasts an eight metre roof and 1450 square metre floor space which is used for a variety of training purposes including the construction of full scale relocatable homes. The Technical Education Centre (TEC) was purpose-built for 15 to 20 year-olds who have not completed a Year 12 qualification.
