This qualification is part of the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package. It reflects the multi-skilled role of individuals in operational and customer support positions in the sport or community recreation industry. These individuals are competent in a range of activities and functions requiring autonomous work within a defined range of situations and environments. They work in locations such as fitness centres, sporting grounds or complexes, leisure and aquatic centres and community recreation centres.

15 units: 9 core; 6 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Participate in WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control; Provide first aid; Conduct non-instructional sport, fitness or recreation sessions; Plan and conduct programs; Respond to emergency situations; plus more. Electives: Coordinate merchandise presentation; Organise and supervise participant travel; Facilitate inclusion for people with a disability; Manage stock supply and purchase; Maintain sport, fitness and recreation facilities; plus more.
