Concurrently undertaken with either the Bachelor of Aviation or Bachelor of Aviation / Bachelor of Business, the Graduate Certificate of Aviation (Piloting) is a professional pilot course beyond the minimum specified by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. Graduates are qualified to commence an aircraft type endorsement in either the charter or regular public transport airline sectors, or alternatively commence employment as a professional flight instructor.
Standard entry requirements
Standard entry Enrolment into this program is processed by a Course Advisor in the Faculty of Science Engineering and Technology. Please do not submit a 'Direct Entry' Application. Only students admitted into the Bachelor of Aviation OR the Bachelor of Aviation / Bachelor of Business are eligible to apply. Applicants must have already met the admissions requirements and have been admitted into either: Bachelor of Aviation Bachelor of Aviation / Bachelor of Business It should be noted that the aviation regulator (ie CASA) may require a different English language requirement for licence issue. Enrolment in the Graduate Certificate program, and the continuation of such enrolment, is dependent on a continuing an active enrolment in the Bachelor degree courses. Special entry Special entry does not apply for this program. Medical requirements Applicants will be required to meet the requirements of a Class 1 medical examination as regulated by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) for holders of a Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane).
