This qualification is part of the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package. It eflects the role of specialist civil construction personnel who perform technical specialist tasks. They perform tasks involving a broad range of varied activities most of which are complex and non-routine. They are responsible for applying the site work instructions and practices to ensure the quantity and quality of their outputs and contribute to the development of technical solutions for non-routine problems.
