No minimum education

Structure:

32 units: 26 core; 6 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Carry out interactive workplace communication; Read plans and calculate plumbing quantities; Work effectively in the plumbing and services sector; Carry out WHS requirements; Handle and store plumbing materials; plus more. Electives: Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding; Operate elevated work platforms; Operate personnel and materials hoists; Weld polyethylene and polypropylene pipes using fusion method; Fabricate and install steel pressure piping; plus more.

Study Pathways:

This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway.

Further information:

Completion of the general induction training program specified by the National Code of Practice for Induction Training for Construction Work is required before entering a construction work site. Achievement of unit CPCCOHS1001A covers this requirement.
