Timber Training Creswick is a Registered Training Organisation located alongside the Melbourne University Creswick campus in Victoria. It offers technical training to the timber and forest industry across Australia via both short courses and qualifications. Qualifications cover all aspects of timber production, use and sales - from forest growing and management to sawdoctoring, wood machining, timber truss and frame, and timber merchandising. Short courses include: chainsaw use and operation, timber harvesting operator licences, ACUP chemical training, timber drying, and grading and treatment. Class sizes are kept small in many courses due to OHS considerations.
