The course is delivered part time over twelve months through face-to-face workshops, online tutorials and action based learning projects. During the course, participants will take an in-depth look at the quality system and processes used in their own workplace and use these as a basis for extension, development and improvement. Participants will be purposely challenged to research quality and compliance approaches and systems in Australia and internationally and encouraged to create good habits to support them in being a successful RTO manager. The course uses a blended learning methodology based on self-assessment, personal research, knowledge-sharing, experiential and action-based projects, workplace application and regular interaction with a mentor. Participants will gain a broad knowledge of the compliance requirements of the sector, including those not relevant to their current workplace, to ensure they are well versed with the range of operating contexts they may come across in their career.
