The Bachelor of Information Technology / Bachelor of Business combined degree program provides students with an opportunity to complete two bachelor degrees simultaneously over a period of four years. Combined degree programs offers greater breadth of learning, enhancing the academic and professional qualities gained in each separate degree. At the same time, it recognises the increasing need for students to graduate with multidisciplinary skills. This course allows students to have access to first-class facilities to gain invaluable experience in developing the knowledge, skills and attributes that are required to work within the industry. This degree provides professional training in all areas associated with the analysis, design, implementation, integration, maintenance and management of systems involving the application of IT as well as a broad selection of business management including marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship and management of enterprises in the local and global context. Business is highly dependent on information technology infrastructure, so having the expertise in both makes graduates more attractive to employers looking for multi-disciplined staff. Students work on industry relevant tasks and case studies throughout the degree.
The Bachelor of Information Technology / Bachelor of Business combined degree program is a 4 year program comprising 320 units, of which 160 units are core courses, 130 units are compulsory and directed courses, and 30 units are elective courses. The Bachelor of Information Technology or the Bachelor of Business component of this combined program may be awarded with Distinction on the basis of superior performance throughout the program.

Standard entry requirements
Year 12 or equivalent. Alternative entry pathways may include approved TAFE studies, preparatory programs such as Newstep, Open Foundation or Tertiary Preparation Certificate. Assumed knowledge: Any two units of English. Mathematics, while not essential, could be helpful in some majors.
The Bachelor of Information Technology is recognised by the Australian Computer Society.
Credit transfer agreements with TAFE NSW and other education providers are under continuous negotiation. The Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) or the Bachelor of Business (Honours) is also available to meritorious students, as an additional year of full-time or equivalent part-time study.
