University of Newcastle

This scholarship was established by the University of Newcastle for graduates of Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma courses at the Hunter Institute of TAFE NSW who are commencing full-time study at the University in the following year, having gained a Commonwealth supported place through UAC or the identified pathways program. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of UAC academic rank.

Eligibility

Completion of a Certificate IV / Diploma / Advanced Diploma at the Hunter Institute of TAFE NSW in year prior to commencing study with UON, commencing (1st year), undergraduate, full-time.

Amount $5,000

The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for 1 year, to be paid in 2 equal installments of $2,500 after the census date each semester.
