Bachelor of Education with Professional Honours (Early Childhood) students will meet the following course objectives: demonstrate educational knowledge and its application in the provision of effective education to their students, with a particular focus in early childhood education; have ownership of a reasoned and critical perspective; demonstrate an appreciation of the importance of research to evidence based practice; and exhibit the ability to implement research findings in their area of interest or responsibility. The units are offered externally on-line, web-based and negotiated study.

The University requires applicants for admission to the Bachelor of Education with Professional Honours (Early Childhood) degree to hold a Bachelor of Education or a degree in other discipline with a Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Teaching, or Master of Teaching, or to those holding equivalent qualifications.
