To qualify for award of the degree of Master of Computer Science, complete 96 credit points and satisfy all course requirements for the degree outlined in the course structure.

Standard entry requirements

Recognised Bachelor degree with an equivalent average mark of 60% in any area. Applicants with other qualifications and substantial relevant professional experience may be considered.

Recognition

Accreditation is pending for the Cyber Security specialisation from the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

Study pathways

Applicants with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science may apply for credit for 24 credit points (1 session). Applicants who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security will receive 24 credit points of specified credit into the Master of Computer Science (Cyber Security).
