Burbangana Indigenous Social Work Award

The Burbangana Indigenous Social Work Award was established to provide financial support to Indigenous Australian students undertaking the undergraduate Social Work program at the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be known to Nura Gili as an Indigenous student; be undertaking an undergraduate degree in social work at UNSW; and be undertaking either their third year or fourth year work placement. Preference will be given to students undertaking their fourth year work placement as this placement is longer. Selection will be based on academic merit, aptitude and commitment to the preferred program of study, and personal qualities.

Amount $4,000

The scholarship is valued at $4,000 for 1 year.
