The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning is a hands-on option for Years 11 and 12 students. VCAL programs are planned to meet the individual needs of the students and include structured workplace learning. On completion of VCAL students may proceed to work, further VET study, apprenticeship or traineeships. VCAL certificates are awarded by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. VCAL can be undertaken at a Foundation, Intermediate or Senior level.
