This course is designed to equip students with the technical and professional skills required for a successful career as an Engineering Technologist. You can specialise in civil (structural), civil (municipal/transportation), mechanical (energy), mechanical (design), electrical (electrical power) or electrical (control). Upon course completion students will have an understanding of engineering concepts with modern technology and will have the needed skills to innovatively apply, modify and adapt engineering practices to meet engineering challenges and problems for communities, society and the environment. As part of their studies, students will have the opportunity to engage with practicing engineers, work on industry-sponsored projects and have access to industry-based scholarships offered by some of Australia's leading companies.

English (Units 3 & 4, C) or equivalent. English language requirements apply.
The Bachelor of Engineering Technology is accredited by Engineers Australia. Upon completion students will satisfy the academic requirements for membership with Engineers Australia as an Engineering Technologist.
Students from Bachelor of Engineering Technology may articulate into Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). Upon completion of the degree, students may undertake postgraduate study in engineering including Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master level courses.
