This degree will provide students with the creative and practical skills required to design and produce marketing campaigns and collateral to improve an organisations online presence. Graduates are able to appraise the effectiveness of written and audio-visual communications across a variety of media, and influence the production of new multimedia content using skills in research and analysis.

Structure

Students complete three core (compulsory) topics and four option topics that include topics with a focus on digital graphic design fundamentals, social media and digital platforms, and an industry project. In addition to this students complete four option topics chosen from a range of topics available.

Standard entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold a completed honours degree in Media and Communication or Screen Production or a Graduate Diploma in Media and Communication or Screen Production or equivalent.

Study pathways

The University may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, consider applicants who do not hold a bachelor degree or equivalent but can demonstrate relevant higher education study with relevant work experience, or relevant work experience which may meet the requirements for entry into the course.
