Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Global Studies

Monash University

This double degree allows students to explore global cultures, learn the intricacies of global economies, develop leadership skills and combine their studies with overseas travel. Studying Commerce and Global Studies will enable students to explore from a multidisciplinary perspective how economic, political, social and technological decisions are made across the world. This course leads to two separate degrees: Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Global Studies. Students will gain the benefits of each degree and are fully equipped to pursue a career in either field separately or combine the two in their chosen work. A key component of Global Studies is a required period of study overseas that can be completed at a Monash international campus or a partner university. This degree also offers additional opportunities in Commerce for internships and leadership programs. While career options will depend on the Commerce majors and the Global Studies specialisation that students choose, the double degree course will open up a diverse range of opportunities.
