The course content has been developed through University and Industry partnerships and is designed to equip learners with both technical and professional skills. The course will develop deep digitalisation knowledge and skills through an approach of real-world complex problem solving in collaborative teams. It will include innovation and entrepreneurship skills applied to product lifecycle management from design and production to system management.
Structure
The Associate Degree in Applied Technologies consists of 15 or 16 units of study (200 credit points). To qualify for the award of the Associate Degree in Applied Technologies students must successfully complete 200 credit points comprising 3 core units of study (37.5 cps) and 1 specialisation consisting of 12 or 13 units of study (162.5 cps).

Standard entry requirements
One of: Successful completion of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or its equivalent , such as an interstate or international Year 12 qualification. Completion or partial completion of an approved tertiary qualification or International Equivalent (including Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Associate Degrees and/or higher qualification).
