These sub-disciplines studies may include: clinical, sport and occupational biomechanics; exercise physiology; motor learning and control; sport, exercise, health and coaching psychology; physical activity promotion; and sport and recreation marketing and management. In addition to learning cognitive skills, several units involve advanced technical and measurement skills developed through tutorials and laboratories. Most units offer opportunities for students to plan, prepare and conduct small research projects, and then analyse these data and report findings in both written and oral formats.
