The Bachelor of Art Theory is designed specifically for aspiring thinkers, producers, curators, innovators and entrepreneurs interested in pursuing a career in the creative and cultural sectors. The program champions critical enquiry and recognises the important role that art theory plays in today's arts ecology.

Entry Requirements:

Year 12; Certificate IV or higher qualification. Students with an ATAR (or equivalent rank) that is just below the expected cut-off have the opportunity to submit a portfolio.


The Bachelor of Art Theory is awarded at the completion of three years full-time study. The program consists of an Art Theory Core that provides a depth of engagement with art theoretical study and an Elective and General Education component that provides a depth of experience.
